Welcome to the website created to support the organisation of 3 workshops at the 2005 EU Open Health Forum. The site has been created by the European Public Health Alliance (EPHA), which is the largest network of NGOs working on public health in Europe.

Background
On 7-8 November 2005, the European Commission held the 2nd Annual Open Health Forum in Brussels. The event brought together approximately 400 policy-makers, health professionals, advocates, NGOs, patients and academics to discuss key challenges in health in Europe.
The Forum consisted of plenary sessions with keynote speeches and 3 parallel, interactive workshops on Health Strategy (1), Health Products (2) and Health Services (3). You can see the programme of the Forum and read the speeches online.
